Ulrik Nicolai de Lichtenberg is the Director of Scientific Projects at the Danish Centre for AI Innovation (DCAI) which own and operates the GEFION AI Supercomputer. Dr. de Lichtenberg holds and MSc in engineering and a PhD in Bioinformatics from DTU. He has over 25 years of expertise in data science, AI, data management, research IT, and biomedical research from both academia and industry. More recently, he worked six years at the Novo Nordisk Foundation on major AI and data science initiatives, including in the scoping and design of the Gefion AI supercomputer project.
