Kristina Karanikolova works as a Researcher at TNO’s Strategy and Policy Department since August 2016. Kristina is involved in a number of European projects where she carries research on topics related to innovation policy and digitization. Kristina has been involved and contributed in a number of projects. Most recently her focus has been on orchestrating innovation via mechanisms such as (but not limited to) Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs), including the mentoring and DIHNET.eu project, contribution to the DIH capacity building activities in SmartAgriHubs, BOWI project which aims to establish corridors of collaboration among DIHs, and the VISION CSA with efforts in strategic roadmaps and connecting the AI ecosystem. She holds two Master’s degrees from the University of Amsterdam – in European competition law and regulation and in European and International labor law.
