Dr. Wael Rashwan is a Lecturer in Business Analytics at Maynooth University, where he co-leads the Data Science and Digital Transformation Research Beacon. He is a Funded Principal Investigator at Rinn AI, the Centre for Research and Innovation in Data Science and AI, and a Principal Investigator at the Innovation Value Institute. His work combines machine learning, optimisation and simulation to build explainable decision-support systems for complex, uncertain environments, particularly in healthcare. With extensive experience across academia and industry, he focuses on how organisations turn analytics into better decisions.
