Valentín Polo, Senior Innovation Consultant at PNO Consultants, has a MsC and a PhD in Electrical Engineering (Photonics) by the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia in Spain. He works actively in proposal preparation and project execution (Management, Disssemination, Communication and Exploitaition). During more than 25 years, he has been involved in R&D+i activities and EU projects proposal preparation and execution in diverse technologies (polymers, nanotechnologies, photonics, microwave photonics, PIC) and their application to several markets (SATCOM, automotive, health, circular economy, telecom, advanced materials, advanced manufacturing, defense). He has coordinated 8 EU projects, acts as external reviewer for the EC and COST, and has published more than 130 scientific papers and conferences.
