Utz-Uwe Haus leads the HPC/AI EMEA Research Lab, part of Hewlett Packard Labs. He joined HPE from Cray in 2020. Before starting at Cray in 2015 he worked on non-standard applications of mathematical programming and operations research at ETHZ, the Magdeburg Center for Systems Biology, Univ. of Magdeburg, and ZIB. He holds a PhD and Diploma in Mathematics. His current interests focus on enabling middleware for sustainable and secure usage of HPC systems
