Tonia Sapia
PhD in Intercultural Sociology, she is Marketing and Project Manager in FIWARE Foundation. Tonia is currently covering marketing tasks in “Orion in CEF project”, Context Broker is one of the Connecting Europe Facility Building Blocks. She is involved in three projects on Open Data under the umbrella of CEf grants: CEFAT4Cities (eGov and Smart Cities domains), ODALA (Smart Cities and Open Data) and, INTERSTAT (Open Data). She is contributing to writing EC proposals.
Tonia is committed to Marketing activities in FIWARE Foundation, she is responsible for selection and publications of FIWARE Impact Stories and open calls for SMEs and Startups. She is currently leading the University Roadshow and Accelerator Programme in FIWARE Foundation. She was commercial coach and engagement of enterprises in frontierCities (2014-2016) and frontierCities2 (2016-2018) FIWARE Accelerator programme. These activities bring her to meet key actors of public authorities and business sectors at national and international level. Moreover, she is also professor of Methodology and Techniques of Quantitative and Qualitative Research MICAD – master’s in international Cooperation and Development – Faculty of Business Administration. She is a member of the Evaluation Committee and consultant of the MICAD Scientific Committee for the revision of the master’s Programme Syllabus.
