Simon Hinterholzer is an engineer for renewable energies and researches innovative technical approaches in the field of energy. He supports the Borderstep Institute as a researcher in projects about smart energy usage like WindNODE but also in projects about the energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions caused by digital infrastructures. In the course of his previous career he has successfully completed various projects for public clients (Federal Ministries, EU Commission) as well as for private sector associations.
