Sebastian Werner is an accomplished researcher working at ISE, TU Berlin, Germany and currently a work package leader in Horizon Europe Project TEADAL, working on accountability and trustworthiness in federated data lakes. His primary expertise lies in serverless technology and the design of distributed cloud-based applications and platforms. Sebastian earned his Ph.D. On the topic of serverless data processing and application platform co-design in 2023. His current research focuses on sustainability, scalability, and trustworthiness. Sebastian is passionate about addressing these challenges of the next generation of cloud-computing both in his research and his teaching.
