Dr. Sebastian Schneider was born 1977 in Munich. After finishing school in 1996 he studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Munich until 2001, followed by a PhD at the same university. From 2007 to 2008 he worked for Freudenberg. Since 2008 he is in different positions at DMG MORI (former Gildemeister AG). He was project leader for the first machine transfer project from Japan to Germany. After that he built up the standardization and complexity management. Further cooperation projects with the Japanese parent company followed. Since the start he is involved in the creation of Manufacturing-X.
