Sarah Spiekermann
Professor for IS at University of Economics Vienna
Since 2009 Sarah Spiekermann chairs the Institute for Information Systems & Society at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna) where she also founded the Privacy & Sustainable Computing Lab in 2016. She is the author of the books “Ethical IT Innovation: A Value-based System Design Approach” as well as “Networks of Control” and “User Control in Ubiquitous Computing”. Currently, she also co-chairs the IEEE standardization effort P7000 (Model Process for addressing Ethical Concerns during System Design) and is involved in the Council on Extended Intelligence (CXI) founded by MIT, Harvard & IEEE.
