Radu Prodan is Professor in distributed systems at the University of Klagenfurt, Austria. He received his Ph.D. in 2004 from the Vienna University of Technology, Austria. Between 2004 –2018, he was an associate professor at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. His research interests are programming, performance analysis, optimization, and resource management tools for parallel and distributed systems. He participated in numerous international projects and coordinated, among others, the European Horizon 2020 project ARTICONF and the new Horizon Europe project Graph-Massivizer. He coauthored over 200 publications and received three IEEE best paper awards.
