Philip Black is Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Brightbeam’s Intelligence division, where he leads proposition development, strategy and the R&D agenda for Brightbeam, the integrator of digital intelligence for regulated enterprises. He co-founded Brightbeam in 2023, and is also CEO and co-founder of Cormirus, which applies AI to individualise learning at scale. Before this, Philip spent ten years as Chief Operating Officer of Emergn, leading global operations, product development and customer delivery. He studied computer science and writes about the gap between fluency and genuine expertise in AI systems and all things learning.
