Since 1.9.2020; Michael Malms has been working as an independent IT specialist with focus on “”European and national research and development projects””, including Strategy consulting and publications in connection with research and development projects, as well as design and management of workshops on selected topics of digitalization and networking of research consortia at European level. Since 2012 Michael has been responsible for the strategic research agenda of the European Technology Platform for High Performance Computing, ETP4HPC.
From 1984 – 2012, Michael has been active in various leading technical and personnel functions in system development at IBM in Germany, the USA and Switzerland. Michael received his doctorate from the RWTH Aachen, Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
