Marija joined Philips Research in 2016 to work as a Research Scientist within the Data Science Department. Marija’s work is mainly focused on algorithm design and software programming in various applications within the domain of AI in Healthcare. Since 2016, Marija is the Healthcare taskforce lead within Big Data Value Association (BDVA). Before joining Philips Research, Marija worked as a visiting researcher in Philips Lighting (Signify) on context-aware lighting applications with the aim of simultaneous comfort improvement and energy preservation. She has several years of experience as a Lead Project Engineer in the domain of Smart Buildings.
