Keith Cortis
The Malta Information Technology Agency

Keith Cortis is an Enterprise Architect at the Malta Information Technology Agency (MITA) and is responsible for Artificial Intelligence and data driven projects from both a strategy and an enterprise architecture level. He also works on Artificial Intelligence initiatives at a national level, such as the Strategy and Vision for Artificial Intelligence in Malta. He has over 10 years’ experience in the ICT domain and has worked in academia, industry, and the public sector, on numerous fields ranging from social semantic web, language technology, FinTech, and robotics. His research interests are Language Technologies, Opinion Mining, Natural Language Processing, and Social Semantic Web. Lastly, he is a member of the ICT sub-committee of the National Council for the Maltese Language, and a member of the EU COST Action CA19102 ‘Language in the Human-Machine Era’ (LITHME) which is exploring the future effects of new and emerging mobile language technologies.
