Julien Chiaroni is the CEO and co-founder of SafeNAI, a startup specializing in AI governance and observability. He previously served as Director of the Grand Défi IA at the French General Secretariat for Investment (SGPI), leading initiatives to secure and certify AI for critical systems. Julien held research and management roles at CEA-Leti and CEA-List, directing programs in AI, cybersecurity, and digital technologies. He is a graduate of ENSPG, Sciences Po, and HEC Paris, and has participated in numerous European AI partnerships and standardization efforts.
