Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the Artificial Intelligence Research Centre of the Spanish National Research Council. He holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence (2000) and an MSc in Computer Vision (1998). He is involved in the AI4Citizen pilot in the AI4EU project. His research focuses on the study of AI algorithms for supporting the formation and decision making of collectives of collectives of humans. His current research area is AI for the social good, with applications to education, ethics, shared mobility and democracy.
