Irene Dennehy
Change Management Lead at SAP

Irene Dennehy is a Change Management Lead within SAP’s People & Culture function, based in Ireland. With extensive experience leading organisational change across complex, global environments, Irene specialises in the human side of transformation, focusing on how individuals, teams and organisations adapt when the ground shifts beneath them.

Irene co-leads SAP’s Business Women’s Network (BWN) Ireland, through which she was invited to contribute to EBDVF 2026. She proposed and developed the Human in the Loop session independently, driven by a belief that the most important and underexplored questions about AI are not just technical but human — behaviour, value, trust and organisational design.

Her work sits at the intersection of Change Management, organisational psychology and AI adoption, making her a natural bridge between the technology community and the human sciences. As a moderator, she brings her practitioner insight to this session, and a genuine curiosity about how Europe can lead not just in building AI, but in developing organisations and societies that use it consciously, responsibly and ethically.
