Francisco José Lacueva Pérez is a researcher and R&D&I project manager at the Instituto Tecnológico de Aragón (ITA), with a background in Computer Engineering from the University of Zaragoza. His work focuses on applying artificial intelligence, machine learning and data analytics to digital transformation, particularly in the agrifood sector, including agricultural sustainability, predictive modelling and the integration of heterogeneous data sources. He contributes to European initiatives such as AgriDataValue and promotes satellite data applications for smart farming. He also co-leads the Agrifood Task Force of the Big Data Value Association (BDVA), supporting data-driven innovation and AI adoption across the sector.
