Erik Lindahl
Professor at KTH Royal Institute of Technology

Erik Lindahl is professor of Biophysics at KTH & Stockholm University, and leads a cross-disciplinary team using both experiments and computers to understand the signalling in the human nervous system. His team has developed some of the most widely used scientific HPC applications in the world, including the molecular simulation code GROMACS, which is core application in EuroHPC and used by numerous EU projects to understand motions of biological molecules such as proteins, and how drugs influence them. He will share insights of opportunities in combining large-scale data with advanced computational techniques to accelerate life science discovery.
