I’m Elli Kartsakli, a senior research engineer in the wireless telecommunications sector. I hold a Ph.D. in Wireless Telecommunications from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) in Spain .
Since December 2019, I am a senior researcher in the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS). I am part of the Computer Sciences – Predictable Parallel Computing group, working on scheduling policies and distributed architectures for edge computing environments.
I have significant experience in Horizon 2020/FP7 European projects and I am currently involved in ELASTIC and CLASS projects, coordinated by BSC. My primary research interests include edge computing and distributed architectures, network slicing, protocols and architectures for 5G networks and beyond.
