Eduardo Quinones
Senior Researcher and Team Leader at Barcelona Supercomputing Center

Eduardo Quiñones is a senior researcher and team leader at the Barcelona Supercomputer Center (BSC) since 2008. He holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the Technical University of Catalunya (UPC). His research interests are tied to the convergence of high performance, and edge and cloud computing domains, including the use of programming models for the development, analysis and execution of advanced cyber-physical systems, such as smart mobility and large scientific infrastructures. Eduardo is coordinating multiple international research projects, including several European Projects and bilateral projects with industry. He is author of more than 100 peer-review papers and he holds three patents from the automotive domain.
