Dessislava Petrova-Antonova

Dessislava Petrova-Antonova is a Research Leader of Data Management Research Unit of GATE Institute and an associate professor at Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Her research area includes Data management with a focus on semantic data enrichment and interoperability. She is leading the City Digital Twin project, developing advanced models and algorithms for analysis, simulation and visualization of urban environment and processes and is also leading the Sofia City Urban Data Space initiative. She is presently head of MSc program “Technology entrepreneurship and innovations in IT”. She has co-authored more than 70 peer-reviewed academic publications and has successfully participated in more than 20 European and national research and education projects.
