Dr Denia Kanellopoulou is a Researcher and Head of Digital Innovation at NCSR “Demokritos,” where she connects applied research, AI innovation and technology adoption. She has over 15 years of experience in European, national and industrial R&I programmes and digital transformation. She is actively involved in European AI initiatives, including the AI-on-Demand ecosystem, AI Factories, European Digital Innovation Hubs and Data Labs, and represents Greece in the EU AI Board’s AI Innovation Ecosystem subgroup. Her work focuses on translating AI capabilities into practical value for organisations and enabling responsible, sustainable AI adoption across Europe.
