Daniel Møller Ølgaard (he/him) is Assistant Professor in Military Technology at the Royal Danish Defence College (RDDC). His current research and teaching activities critically interrogate the socio-political implications of emerging technologies across war and military organizations with a particular emphasis on: 1) the changing influence of Big Tech and software corporations in military affairs; 2) how imaginaries about emerging technologies, such as AI, quantum computing and C4ISR software, (re)shape military organizations and practice; and 3) how militaries can utilize AI for operational purposes in a responsible manner.
