Christopher Newman is a senior strategic project manager at acatech – Germany’s National Academy of Science and Engineering. He coordinates deployEMDS, a European project with 45 partners advancing trusted data sharing for urban mobility and laying the foundations of the common European mobility data space (EMDS). With experience in mobility, international cooperation and digital education, he works at the intersection of policy and technology, focusing on strategy development, cross-sector collaboration and data-driven solutions. He holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance and is driven by the belief that digital technologies and data should deliver real public value — improving decisions, services and the way we address shared challenges.
