Chris Duckworth is a Senior Enterprise Fellow at the IT Innovation Centre, University of Southampton and an Honorary Researcher within the UK’s National Health Service (NHS). Chris’ original background is in Theoretical Astrophysics (PhD, St Andrews), before switching fields to Digital Health. Chris’ main expertise lies in AI, in particular considering the technological and societal challenges around trust and its adoption. He is PI/CO-I on a number of healthcare projects considering explainable AI, codesign and decision support.
