Carlota Cañamero is a research engineer at Gradiant, where she has worked for the past three years. She holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Vigo (2023) and is currently completing her master’s studies at the same university. Her work focuses on developing AI algorithms based on computer vision for healthcare applications, such as chronic wound assessment and prostate cancer diagnosis. For over a year, she has been leading the creation of a new strategic line focused on applying AI in the primary sector, promoting the use of cutting-edge technologies in agriculture and related fields.
