Çağatay is a physicist who also trained in marketing, a useful combination in my field: he understands both the technology and how it reaches the market. His focus is the open, sustainable compute and AI continuum across HPC, cloud and edge.
Today he wears three hats. At RISE Scalable Systems he leads R&D and innovation projects on scalable, federated AI and compute infrastructure. At the Open Compute Project he serves as EMEA Nordics Regional Lead, driving open technologies’ adoption across the Nordics. At BDVA he co-leads the Energy Task Force, linking data and AI to Europe’s energy transition.
