Dr.-Ing. Bastian Koller (male) joined the High Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS) in 2004 after his diploma degree in computer science and received his PhD in 2011. He is currently leading the FF4EuroHPC SME programme, the European Centre of Excellence on Engineering -EXCELLERAT and coordinating the European Initiatives EuroCC and CASTIEL which implement in 33 countries national competence centres on HPC. Since 2014 he acts as Managing Director of HLRS, being responsible for the day-to-day operations and the overall R&D strategy.
