Arsalan Shahid is a Principal Solutions Director and leads Applied Research at Brightbeam AI, where he shapes AI strategy and helps make digital intelligence second nature across regulated sectors. Previously, as a principal investigator at Ireland’s national centre for applied AI, he bridged research and industry to deliver measurable organisational value. His expertise spans applied machine learning, generative and agentic AI, high-performance computing, and cloud-native architectures. He has led multidisciplinary teams and R&D initiatives across Europe, the United States, and Asia. Arsalan has a background in electronics engineering, holds a PhD from University College Dublin and an MBA, and represents Brightbeam within the BDVA and ADRA communities.
