Anna Cattani-Scholz
Delegate for Key Technologies - Brussels office at Helmholtz Association

Anna is the delegate for the research field “Key Technologies” for the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres since September 2018. Her work consists primarily of representing the interests of the association and its research centres with regard to new European research funding programmes and policy developments at European level, with a focus on AI, digital infrastructures, cybersecurity, robotics, information technology, and materials science.
Prior to joining the Helmholtz Association, she worked as senior scientist and group leader on different multidisciplinary international projects at the Technical University of Munich, where she is still active as a guest scientist in the field of semiconductor technology and functional interfaces. Author of several scientific publications, she works as an expert for the European Commission. She holds a PhD in Chemistry and a Habilitation in Physics from the Technical University of Munich.
