
Alexandros Zerzelidis is a Software Engineer from the Alexander Technological Institute of Thessaloniki (now part of the International Hellenic University) and holds an MSc in Software Engineering and a PhD in Real-Time Systems, both from the University of York, UK. He has 8+ years of experience as a researcher and developer, both in the corporate sector and in research institutes, working on both European research projects and corporate product-based projects, whose activities have varied from WCET evaluation on multicore CPUs for satellites to implementing communication protocols for variable message road signs, to implementing a decision support system for smart building management. Currently, he is working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) of the Centre of Research and Technology, Hellas (CERTH).
