EBDVF 2026 Welcome Reception

University of Galway and Medtronic welcome the EBDVF community to the city of Galway. The European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF) brings together industry professionals, business developers, researchers and policy-makers from all over Europe and other regions of the world to advance policy actions and industrial and research activities in the areas of Data and AI.

The welcome reception of our community’s main event will lay the perfect groundwork for valuable networking opportunities, kick-starting EBDVF 2026 in the perfect venue of St. Nicholas’ Collegiate Church!

It will contain warm welcomes from the BDVA team and special guests accompanied by an Irish music performance from renowned harpist Kathleen Loughnane.

Afterwards there will be space for networking, engaging with seasoned and new peers of the BDVA community, accompanied by light snack and drinks.

Registration for the EBDVF pre-event activities is available as part of the registration process as well as via links provided directly in the individual pre-event descriptions in the EBDVF programme.
