The role of Manufacturing Data Spaces in the implementation of Digital Product Passports
The role of Manufacturing Data Spaces in the implementation of Digital Product Passports: challenges and lessons learned from Circular TwAIn project and the Circular Manufacturing cluster.
The session aims at identifying and debating a convergence framework between Manufacturing Data Spaces and Digital Product Passports for Circular Economy, by bridging the gaps between B2B Manufacturing linear Value Networks and new requirements and regulations for Circularity (the TR3 model TRust TRansparency TRaceability) to be introduced in the business by Governmental Authorities (B2G, customs, anti-fraud, market surveillance services) and actively involving final Consumers (B2C). The Circular TwAIn project and other Horizon Europe / Digital Europe initiatives in the field will present and discuss conceptual models, reference architectures and industrial pilots for implementing B2B Manufacturing Data Spaces, open to B2G and B2G interoperability requirements and suitable to meet the new challenges coming from Circular Economy and Digital Product Passports.
