The Objective of the session is to present the first achievements of the AI REGIO Didactic Factories Network at the presence of representatives of the EC, EFFRA, BDVA as well as to discuss how this initiative could be considered a precursor network for the AI Testing and Experimental Facilities in Digital Europe Programme. The proposed session can be roughly divided in two main parts, after a short introduction by Brainport Industries who is leading the DF Network action in AI REGIO. The former part aims at defining a multi-perspective institutional framework for the DEP AI TEF in Manufacturing initiative. The latter part is presenting some industrial use cases on how the AI REGIO Didactic Factories could contribute to the success and impact of the initiative. A short debate, led by Politecnico di Milano (AI REGIO coordinator) will conclude the session.
