The Agentic Organisation: Transforming AI, Operating Models and Governance

This session focuses on ‘the agentic organisation’ and how businesses and other organisations make decisions in the age of AI. Organisational decision-making processes are changing as AI agents are integrated into workflows and operating models. At the same time, research shows that most organisations that use AI are still not seeing resulting measurable value. Can both challenges be addressed at once – potentially with a common solution? In this session, IVI Director Prof. Markus Helfert will present some of IVI’s latest research on the ‘agentic organisation’, including how our Capability Maturity Framework has been updated in response to the current moment and what we have heard from organisational leaders. Other academic experts on AI and data value will share perspectives before we widen discussion to share the expertise and perspectives of a roundtable of business and policy leaders. Finally, we will open the floor to discussion to allow attendees to share their experiences at the confluence of AI, data, business value and organisational workflows.
