From Data to Ethics: Towards integrated ethics procedures for data innovation project proposals

Workshop coming from WP3 

As part of the series of best practice courses launched at Data Week in Luleå, this time we focus on establishing common best practices. Based on the fruitful discussion in the last workshop, which highlighted the conflict between legal and contractual requirements, especially in funded projects. We want to present and collect ideas on how to establish a stable ethical framework, starting with proposal writing, that can address threats to personal data, but also AI risks. Topics will include data management, ethically relevant procedures for selecting experiments, and integrated ethical risk management.  We will build on the lessons learned from the EUHubs4Data project.
