The main objective of this session is to give to the audience an overview on the AI4EU project and ecosystem, from the Networks of Excellence (NoEs) to those that linked to its ecosystem – Services and AI for Manufacturing, for example.

Furthermore, the AI ecosystem links to the main stakeholders in its vision– Researchers, Industry and SMEs –through the description of the open calls and 2 additional sessions. The topics for these are the technology transfer services from research to industry using the AI on demand platform, and the case studies oriented to a broad number of market segments to enhance SMEs and low tech SMEs on the AI sector.

To have a better engagement with the audience, the session will be divided in 3 slots of 30 minutes on:

  • Slot 1 (S1): AI4EU positioning in the European Panorama and Funding Opportunities for startups and venture capital
  • Slot 2 (S2): Knitting industry and research through the AI ecosystem
  • Slot 3 (S3): Digitizing SMEs through AI case studies

 

S1: This slot will make the participants understand the AI4EU strategy, positioning the project with the Networks of Excellence, features, objectives, ICT 49, DIH engagement, other Key European Initiatives, and finally the funding opportunities that the project provide to the startups and SMEs.

S2: This slot will show the opportunities for cooperation and technology transfer in the area of AI with respect to different opportunities in two main dimensions. These are industry – academia and the potential growth on this perspective; AI assets – machinery support, for sustainability and opportunities on the cloud, HPC, Internet service providers.

S3: This slot will provide to the participants with information on how the AI4EU projects plan to showcase multiple pilots to enrich the AI platform. This will be oriented towards supporting a growth on AI assets on the AI4EU platform towards different market segments as case studies and pilots that will be target future SMEs and low tech SMEs in Europe using them.
