Experts from leading industries, European associations and governmental organisations will discuss about the current state of play of the development of data spaces in Europe.

We will explore how Mobility, Manufacturing, Smart Cities and other data spaces will operate and interact. Have they been built with cross-sectorial interoperability in mind? There is a need for strong coordination among all players from all sectors.

Are there any gaps to be filled? Does the European Data Strategy fill all the gaps needed to deliver functional, interoperable data spaces that will boost the digital transformation in Europe, making it world-leading digital economy?

We will hear from the main stakeholders what are the priorities and how will they meet them.

The main objective of the session is to understand if the development and deployment of data spaces across different sectors and interest groups is aligned and future-proof. The main outcome of the session will be a set of recommendations to accelerate the deployment of dataspaces in Europe.
