This session aims to explore the synergistic potential of key European legislative and technological initiatives in transforming public sector services. Focusing on the Interoperable Europe Act and the AI Act, we will discuss on how these frameworks can promote cross-border interoperability, enhance the use of artificial intelligence, and ensure ethical and secure AI deployments in public administration.

The discussion will delve into the European Blockchain Service Infrastructure (EBSI), highlighting its capacity to provide secure, transparent, and decentralized solutions for public sector applications. We’ll explore the integration of Digital Wallets and eIDAS (Electronic Identification, Authentication, and Trust Services), emphasizing how these tools can empower citizens with seamless access to public services and robust digital identities.

Furthermore, we will introduce EDIC Citiverse, as collaborative virtual environment designed to foster innovation and cross-border cooperation.

By connecting these diverse elements, the session will provide a comprehensive vision for the future of public sector services, showcasing the potential of integrated digital frameworks to create a more interconnected, efficient, and citizen-centric public administration landscape.
