In this session, the AI Factories are the audience — and the spotlight is on you: the manufacturing innovators across Europe!

AI Factories are set to play a central role in Europe’s AI strategy, as outlined in the AI Continent Action Plan and the Apply AI Strategy. AIF mission for manufacturing, engineering and construction: to accelerate Europe’s AI and Data ecosystem by providing access to computing power, data, and expertise.

Objective

As part of the EBDVF, the AI Factory Manufacturing Working Group invites manufacturing companies, innovators, and solution providers to join an interactive workshop to shape how AI Factories can best support you.

We’ll discuss in an open manner:

  •  Data Access: What manufacturing data sources matter most — and how can particularly AI Factories help you use them or even generate new ones?
  •  AI Innovation: Which AI models (foundational, domain-specific, agentic)  will unlock new value from manufacturing data?
  •  Trust & Compliance: What potentially unseen challenges, opportunities and needs arise particularly related to using manufacturing data for AI?

We’ll provide the space — you bring the vision:  The session will follow upon the discussions in the International Manufacturing X Session just before this session and will provide you contact to many AI Factories in Europe, that have manufacturing as their focus. You can bring forward your needs, and AI Factories will be able to provide initial comments at a panel at the end of this session.

Moderation: Till Riedel, Andreas Wierse
